The Al Habtoor Tennis Academy is Dubai’s latest tennis hotspot at Al Habtoor City, Dubai’s new luxury hospitality, entertainment and residential destination. Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge
The Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge (AHTC) was created by the Chairman of Al Habtoor Group, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, in 1998 to encourage the development of women's tennis in the United Arab Emirates. It was the first professional all-ladies tennis event in the Middle East.
Today, the AHTC is the leading Women’s championship in the region recognized by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) with a prize of $100,000. It has kick-started the careers of many well-known female players, including Jelena Janković, who went on to become a world no. 1.

Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series
Founded by Mohammed Al Habtoor in 2009. Since inception the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series has grown from strength to strength. Today, it is ranked among the best polo tournaments in the world. Now an 18-goal handicap competition, it is the highest handicapped event in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. It was first recognized by the World Polo Tour (WPT) in 2012. Three years later the WPT upgraded the tournament from Challenge Cup to the highly coveted WPT Cup, providing winners with 80 points. In 2017 the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series moved to its new home ground - The Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, a state-of-the-art development devoted to equine sports.

Habtoor Polo
Since March 2000, Habtoor Polo has been working to build a truly recognized and respected polo organization. The patron of the Habtoor Polo team is Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice-Chairman and CEO of the Al Habtoor Group.
Together with his brother Rashid, patron of Mahra, they have been working to promote polo in Dubai and on the international polo circuit. In just a few short years, they have had phenomenal success.
In 2014, Habtoor Polo was the winner of the Al Habtoor Challenge Match, which is part of the Al Habtoor Royal Windsor Cup, attended by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip.
The Habtoor Polo Team has relocated its base to the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club – a new polo and equestrian haven. The development will be a centre of excellence for many equestrian disciplines including polo, horse riding, dressage and show jumping.
