The Dubai Police General Headquarters received 100 Mitsubishi Pajero vehicles from UAE businessman Khalaf Al Habtoor in appreciation for their efforts to promote security and safety in the Emirate.
The new vehicles donated by Al Habtoor will be a great addition to the fleet and patrols of the Dubai Police deployed in all areas of the Emirate of Dubai, to support the Dubai Police’s efforts in implementing the “Safe City” strategy.
Al Habtoor was welcomed by Lt. General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs, Major General Ahmed Mohammed Rafi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs, Major General Mohammed Nasser Al Razooqi, Director of the General Department of Operations, Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of Traffic Department, Sultan Al Habtoor, Mohammad Khalaf Al Habtoor, Ahmed Khalaf Al Habtoor as well as several officers and senior officials.

HE Lt General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, thanked businessman Khalaf Al Habtoor for providing the Dubai Police with vehicles that would enhance the performance of police operations and support Dubai Police's strategy for a "Safe City".
He stressed that Al Habtoor has made, since the UAE establishment, major contributions to various community and humanitarian sectors, given his belief in the importance of the private sector’s participation in strengthening the efforts of the public sector. Al Marri added that Al Habtoor is one of the most prominent Emirati figures known for his philanthropic principles and initiatives, as well as his remarkable contributions in many fields, especially the security field which has always been among his top priorities. “Khalaf Al Habtoor has played a vital and positive role in the rise of the UAE and in community service. He is always keen on contributing to the welfare of all those who live on our land,” concluded Al Marri.
