The Al Habtoor Group operates two of Dubai’s leading British curriculum schools:

Emirates International School (EIS) -  Jumeirah
Emirates International School – Jumeirah was established in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates in 1991 as a community service of the Al Habtoor Group and was the first school in Dubai authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Today it is one of only a handful of schools in the world to be fully authorized to offer all four International Baccalaureate programmes, providing its students with a diverse range of educational programmes. It offers the IBPYP, IBMYP, IBDP and IBCC.

1992:   International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme – ages 16-18

2013:   IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) – ages 3-11

2014:   IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) – ages 11-16

2014:   IB Career-Related Certificates (IBCC) – ages 16-18

By offering all IB programmes, EIS-J is able to give students a seamless continuity of education, throughout their school life. Beginning with an innovative inquiry-based Primary Years Programme (PYP), students move on to the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and then into the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) or the IB Career-related Certificate (IBCC) at age 16. The IB Career-related Certificate (IBCC) is available as an alternative to the IB Diploma for students who wish to follow a more career-related education. EIS-J has also received recognition from parents as ‘Secondary School of the Year 2017’ coming in at second place at the Mother Baby & Child Awards 2017 organised by CPI Media Group.
